Resumo

 Este artigo representa uma breve descrição do conceito de fraturas em pacientes com espondilite anquilosante e as técnicas cirúrgicas mais utilizadas, seguido pelo relato de três casos tratados por artrodese circunferencial.

Abstract

This article represents a brief description of the concept of fractures in patients with ankylosing spondylitis and the most used surgical techniques, followed by the report of three cases treated by circumferential arthrodesis.
